Pledge 2 Protect
The HPA needs 1,000 people who can take 30 seconds to stand up to genocide. Here’s how you do it:
Step one: ipledge2protect.org
Step two: click on “Add Name” and start typing your name
Step three: As you type your name, a new field appears that asks if you want to send a personal message. Please type “HPA” - that way we can count it as part of 1,000 Harry Potter fans against genocide.
This is about supporting a proposal that will ensure that we can stop Voldemort-style regimes before they begin. When our leaders see how many of us are for preventing genocide, it may create legislation that will save millions of lives (and not to mention money as well) in the future.
It’s time for this real world Dumbledore’s Army to support the Order’s call to Prevent Genocide and protect millions of civilians.
Go to http://ipledge2protect.org/. Once you write in your name, there’ll be an option to type in a comment - type in “HPA.”
Get your friends and family to sign or agree to sign and then type in their emails.

Hi! Forgot to type in HPA - thought the box would come up after I had pushed the button but I hadn’t scrolled down far enough to see the box for comments (even though your instructions were very clear). So whatever number you get, add one to that. If you can see the list of names then it’s Niamh Duggan if you want to keep record.

Genocide is the least palatable word in my vocabulary. To kill is wrong. To kill many is wrong. To kill many because you dislike a type is monstrous. Humans are better when absent from monstrosity. Genocide Sucks. HPA.
