Max here, HPA Ning Manager, bringing you the latest activity over at the Ning! Jodi B, Hufflepuff, has written a wonderful blog post about the personal impact yesterday’s “Helping Haiti Heal” had on her. Jodi writes:
“I just feel so proud, so alive and like I want to do more . . . Today I realized the good we can really do in the world.”
She writes of how frustrated she was with the perpetual machine of everyday life, and how “Helping Haiti Heal” allowed her to remember what was truly important:
“I had sunk into the Muggle Mindset. And this has pulled me right out of that, and I feel like dancing in the rain. If only it were raining.”
To find out more, read the post in its entirety here.

There is absolutely no way to describe or begin to describe what Acacia does for the Harry Potter Alliance. From putting in endless hours and unbelievable creativity around web and graphic design and web functionality, to also putting in countless hour brainstorming on how to make our projects most effective and innovative - there is so much behind the scenes work that Acacia does that no one ever knows about, except that it has and continues to make the successes we’ve had in bettering this world a reality.
In the process, Acacia has become one of my closest friends and she is not only a brilliant, genius artist whose love and passion for creation in all spheres permeates everything she does - she is also one of the most heartfelt, full of humor, and compassionate friends a person can have.
Please wish her a Happy and Healthy Birthday!!!!!!
